Use Smart Pricing for variable rates
Configure dynamic pricing by time slot, weekday, duration, role. Increase peak revenue and fill empty slots.
Smart Pricing lets you automatically vary service prices based on dynamic factors: time, day, role of who performs. Saturday afternoon premium, Tuesday morning discount.
Typical result in 3 months: +15-25% average revenue at same booking count.
Step-by-step guide
Open Marketing > Smart Pricing
From Settings Tab (⚙️ bottom right), open Marketing > Smart Pricing (📊). You'll see empty rules list. Click "+ New rule".
Starter plan supports creating dynamic pricing rules.
Choose rule type
4 types available:
- By time slot: prices vary by time of day
- By weekday: prices vary by day
- By duration: discount on long services
- By role: different prices per stylist (e.g. Senior +20%)
You can combine rules. Rules multiply cascading.
Configure first rule "Off-peak Tuesday"
Practical example to fill Tuesday morning. Create rule:
- Name: "Tuesday morning discount"
- Type: Weekday + Time slot
- When: Tuesday, 09:00-12:00
- Modify price: -15% on base
- Applicable services: all (or select specific)
- Client notification: badge "🎯 Off-peak −15%" on marketplace
Add "Premium peak Saturday" rule
For Saturday afternoon (peak), increase price:
- Name: "Saturday afternoon premium"
- When: Saturday, 14:00-19:00
- Modify price: +15% on base
- Notification: transparent (no badge)
Combined with previous, revenue distributes better across week.
Configure rule by role (Senior vs Junior)
If team has different seniority, create "By role" rule: Senior Stylist +20%, Junior Stylist -10%.
Client sees different prices per available stylist at booking — helps Juniors build clientele and gives tangible value to seniority.
Verify on marketplace
Go to Preview client profile and select different days/times to see prices update. Clients see only final price (not explicit discount/markup) except when you activate "Off-peak" badges.
Monitor results after 30 days
After 30 days, go to Marketing > Smart Pricing > Analytics:
- Total revenue (vs previous 30 days)
- Booking distribution by time slot
- Discounts applied + % impact
- Increases applied + % impact
- Empty slots filled thanks to pricing
Best practices
Start with 2-3 rules. Don't saturate immediately with 5 rules — confuses clients.
Avoid aggressive discounts (>25%). Teaches clients the "real" price is discounted.
Communicate increases honestly. +20% peak is yield management — be transparent.
